What you can expect to catch

Greenwood Fishery has two lakes - Kingfisher and Longbank. We have been systematically stocking both lakes since 1981.

To maintain our impeccable standards, we only permit top-pedigree Agency-approved stock to be introduced and we spare no effort or cost to keep our water quality and aquatic environment in the best possible condition, including continuous aeration.

To avoid cross-contamination all landing nets (as well as keep nets in approved matches) must be dipped in the disinfectant and rinsing vats before fishing - on every occasion. Also, in the best interests of our stock and to avoid unnecessary physical damage when handling carp and other large fish, unhooking mats must be used and are therefore compulsory. Anglers must comply with the Fishing Bans.

The fish stock includes:Common Carp and Mirror Carp to over 20lb, Bream to over 8lb, Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Chub and Barbel.
