How the Kingfisher Lake evolved...

September 21, 2014 Julian Greenwood

The Kingfisher Lake was was originally an old quarry used by local industry before the war. In 1979-1980 the owners reshaped it along with the surrounding landscape into Greenwood Fishery and Nature Reserve. The gravel bar can also be seen - please refer the the Map of the fishery for depth and lake cross- section information.

The land before the Lagoon Lake was made after the millennium.

The Lagoon island is exactly where this electricity post stood.
